Our Story
Little Dipper Farm has been operating since 2020. Your farm operators Linsey and Arianna are first generation farmers with a love to connect food, community, and nature. Our farm started with a few microgreen seed trays and is expanding to include veggies, herbs, fruit, and farm experiences.
Linsey grew up in eastern Kentucky surrounded by small family gardens and resilient people growing & preserving food for their community. Linsey found a passion to work in partnership with the land to grow fresh & local food.
Arianna is a self-described nature lover and enthusiast. She began her adventure of growing food on the Big Island of Hawaii as a volunteer and working in horticulture therapy. Arianna's adventures from Hawaii, to Alaska, to Maine, to Washington help inspire the food we grow, and the experiences she creates on the farm.
Little Dipper Farm Mission
We believe that fresh & local food is vital to build healthy families and communities. We also believe that sustainable small farming is one solution to the climate emergency. We farm in connection with the land to grow food and provide nature based experiences.
Our farm is low tech and minimal till. We invest in our soil through organic and permaculture farming practices. We do not use pesticides or herbicides on our farm.
We acknowledge that Little Dipper Farm is located on the traditional and ancestral lands of the Nisqually people, or “Squally-Absch.”
